A deposit of 50% is required to reserve your wedding date. Rehearsal June 27 Ceremony June 28 CANCELLATION FEE: Cancellation of services may result in loss of income for the celebrant because of the inability to re-book the date. The closer the cancellation is to the date of the event, the less likely it will be booked. The celebrant will attempt to re-book the date. The following cancellation fees are based on the likelihood that the date will not be booked. If the celebrant is able to book another event of equal or more value on that date, all fees paid minus the retainer will be returned. If the Client reschedules the event for a future date and Axel Media Solutions is able to rebook their original date, all fees paid will be applied to the new date. Otherwise, the Client will be subject to a rebooking fee. In the event of cancellation, the following fees are due: 100% of the total amount due for cancellation within 30 days of the event date; 50% of the total amount due for cancellation within 30 to 90 days of the event date; and loss of retainer for cancellation over 180 days from the event date. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY: If the Client would like celebrant to include specific readings and passages, the material must be presented to the celebrant 2 weeks prior to the wedding date. HOUSE RULES: The celebrant may be limited by the guidelines of the hotel site management. Client agrees to accept the technical results of any imposition on the celebrant. Negotiation with the officials for moderation of guidelines is the Client’s responsibility. The Celebrant will offer technical recommendations only. MEAL PROVISION: For contracts over 5 hours, the Client shall provide AMS’s employees or contractors with a meal during the event. Please ask the catering company or hotel coordinator to provide a vendor meal in advance of your event date. If you are unable to provide a meal please inform AMS in advance so that they can bring their own meal. ADDITIONAL COVERAGE: If the Client changes the ceremony start time additional fees may be incurred by the client in order to accommodate for time reserved by the celebrant. Additional time may be billed at $175/hour. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY OFFICIANT: Your wedding officiant will take the utmost care with respect to designing your wedding ceremony. The celebrant will not be held responsible for any errors made during the wedding ceremony. The Client further agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to limit the liability of Axel Media Solutions (Sage Wedding Celebrations) their owner(s) and employees for the contracted event for any and all claims, losses, costs, damages of any nature whatsoever or claims expenses from any cause or causes, including attorneys’ fees, costs, expert witness fees and costs, so that the total aggregate liability of Axel Media Solutions shall not exceed the total fee for services rendered for this event. In the unlikely event of personal illness or other circumstances beyond the control of Axel Media Solutions, a substitute celebrant of high qualifications, subject to acceptance by the Client prior to the event, may be dispatched by Axel Media Solutions to fulfill the obligations of photography/officiant herein contracted. If a substitute is unavailable or is declined, a full refund of all retainers and fees will be made. In the event that weather conditions make travel unsafe and the event is postponed, the celebrant will reschedule for the new date, if available. If unavailable, or if the celebrant deems travel to be unsafe even though the wedding still occurs, the celebrant's liability will be limited to the return of all fees paid. This contract is not valid until it is signed and Axel Media Solutions (Sage Wedding Celebrations) has received the retainer.
